About Meieriet
Meieriet is the student house in Sogndal and home of the Student Association (Studentsamfunnet i Sogndal). It’s a music venue, a night club, a pub and a café, as well as a place for students to meet and plan all kinds of cultural activities.
The main stage is located in the club area, and during the years many of the most well know Norwegian bands and artists, as well as some big international artists, have entered the stage to the enthustiastic and cheering sound of 550 people. Meieriet is known througout Norway for it’s intimate feel and good vibes, a reputation that made Concerts Norway award Meieriet with the title «Venue of the Year» in 2004.
